The Long Now is a University Design Research Fellowship project by Sean Lally & Matthew Wizinsky for the Exhibit Columbus 2019 exhibition. The project overlays physical and digital experiences. The physical installation creates a mini micro-climate on the site of First Christian Church in Columbus, IN. The Long Now app adds an augmented reality experience, providing a glimpse of climate change at physical, historic and planetary scales through data visualization and speculative life forms tied directly to the site.
